• Therapist

Gwen has been providing counselling for addiction and mental health in Northern Alberta since 2016. Her approach to therapy is influenced by a narrative and trauma perspective, with the addition of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Sessions are person-centered and strength-based, guided by compassion, and will always move at a pace the client is comfortable with. Grounding techniques are taught and practiced in session to support the client who is seeking services for anxiety or traumatic events.

Each session seeks to equip the client with appropriate skills that can be used in maintaining their own well-being and facilitate growth long after therapy has ended.
